We fell off together then. After a week away from home. Days filled with work and catch upon return, I didn't do so well either. I can pat myself on the back for walking 1.3 miles on the Gazelle yesterday morning. Walked the dog this evening, but it was a short walk. Moved, but can't brag on what I ate. Still have to pay attention. Inch by inch, life is a cinch. Yard by yard, life is too hard. I am taking it inch by inch.

Hey, I kind of fell off the wagon for a few days and I am climbing back on.
Since Sunday I have started walking again and I am feeling a little better. I had been feeling very lathargic lately. I am taking my vitamins and getting back on track. I begin my day doing a mile and end it in the evening doing the second mile. I dream to be thin again and not have to go to the extreme again. I am getting ready to have my lunch which consists of a spinach salad, with tomatoes, onions and olives. I have a slice of cake for desert but they say you can indulge a little. I don't want to deprive myself of anything I want. I know that portion control and exercise are the key ingredients to a health weight.....how are you doing???

I walked 1.5 miles this morning, did some housework, and now catching up my mail, etc. Decided to start the morning out with protein so I won't get hungry so quickly. So for breakfast, I have a turkey burger on wheat. It's a leftover, so it already had cheese on it. Won't touch anymore cheese today, but will work on those fruits and veggie servings. Oh, also had about six ounces of grape juice and a multivitamin. Will hit the green tea as soon as I get to work. One small step at a time....

You did great. At lunch I realized I had already consumed 768 calories, so I had a regular salad with a boiled egg. Fell off the calorie wagon for dinner, Left work hungry, but had to run errands. No one wanted to cook so I bought fried, fried, fried from Captain D's. I am afraid to look at the nutrition value. Plan to do better tomorrow. It's a lifestyle change, right?

Good Morning....today is the new beginning of eating healthy and taking care of myself. It is the beginning of the month and the perfect day to start fresh.

I began my day exercising this morning by doing the Leslie Sansone video of the one mile walk. I love doing her videos... I have the muscle walk and the two mile walk. I am going to start out slow by doing the mile walk daily and than working my way up to two miles.

I had my multi-vitamin along with a flax seed pill, cod liver oil, and blood pressure meds.

2 oz of juice
1 cup of green tea/cinnamon/honey/lemon
1 cup of grits (instant)

midmorning 1 nutri grain bar

lunch
spinach and chicken salad
grapes

Dilsa,

Thank you for sharing your excitement as you journeyed the same road to publishing that I did. It is amazing how much we have in command and I admire your continued drive to live your dream as a full time writer.

I trust we will both get there soon - and very soon!!

Keep the faith!
